Aesthetica Magazine recently gave out an issue of their magazine for free to anyone who got in touch, which obviously I did, mainly because of the incredibly striking image on the cover by Silja Magg of a girl reflected in many mirrors, sequins and jewels which was dripping in luxury and reminded me somewhat of Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Room. The vast array of beautiful photographs on Silja's website, mainly of gorgeous women in dreamy, raw landscapes all portray her amazing eye for detail and to me, shows how every image of a woman that she takes, is directly influenced by the environment around here. My favourite photographs are the ones in water where the women look like they're practically one with the waves or like modern, sad, lost mermaids.
